Chemical Engineering – Imperial College London
Ronny Pini holds an MSc and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from ETH Zurich. He specialises in the design of chemical processes that incorporate porous solids, which his group studies using experiments and mathematical models. He works across different length scales, from pore-scale characterisation to process-level design and optimisation. His research aims at finding solutions for the decarbonisation of both the energy and chemical sectors, including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) applications. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data and member of the Board of Directors of the International Adsorption Society (IAS).
