Chemical Engineering – UCL
Özgür Yazaydin earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2007 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Following this, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Professor Yazaydin’s research focuses on the multiscale modelling and application of nanostructured materials in energy and environmental fields. His recent work focuses on PFAS removal from water, CO₂ capture and sequestration, clean hydrogen production with porous membranes, and modelling water transport in confinement.
