Jana Pierron

Sargent Centre Manager

Jana has been involved in the direct management of collaborative research projects since 2006 and has amassed significant higher education, industry and charity experience. Following the completion of her Master’s degree in Material Engineering, Jana worked at Exeter University as a project assistant and research training coordinator for collaborative, multi-institutional Great Western Research Project. In 2008 she became a Centre manager for the MRC Centre at King’s College London and later moved to Imperial College London to support the new Centre Director at the Asthma UK Centre in Allergic Mechanisms of Asthma, collaborative partnership between Asthma UK, Imperial College and King’s College London, as well the NHS Trusts of the two universities.

Jana joined the Sargent Centre in 2021 and as a Centre manager is responsible for strategic planning, leading the administration of the Centre, developing operational processes as well as managing the Centre’s external relations initiatives
